Our Community: Illinois and the World!

The map of Illinois shows the growth of 21CIF during its first three years. During that time, educators from more than 390 schools in Illinois participated in our learning experiences.

Starting in 2005-2006, when we introduced the Full Circle Resource Kit, we shifted from our focus from schools to individual educators. Subscriptions during the first year of publication reached over 2,500 librarians, teachers, tech coordinators, administrators and business persons in 48 states and 57 countries.

Today our subscriptions continue to grow.

We are frequently asked to present workshops and give presentations. Last year this took us on the road to Georgia, Alabama, Texas, California, Wisconsin, Missouri and throughout Illinois.

Our growing community includes the information fluency ning, part of the teacherlibrarian network started by Joyce Valenza.

Numerous K-12 schools, colleges and businesses link to our resources. One of the newest to do so is World Book's How to do Research.
