| Today's middle school and high school students lack at least five critical online research skills. Find out how you can help them to use resources developed by the 21st Century Information Fluency Project at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. Research shows that today's high school and middle school students (and their teachers) are easily frustrated when it comes to finding good information on the Internet. Critical areas for improvement include turning questions into queries, selecting appropriate databases, recognizing relevant information, finding better search terms and verifying the credibility of information.
