Natural is the ideal. Development, in the hands of humans, too often results in unexpected or unwanted consequences. Human history is full of examples: pollution, disease, overcrowding, endangered and extinct species. The move to green technologies and responsible development is desperately needed.

Space exploration is increasingly within our reach, spurred on partly by the need to inhabit and develop unspoiled worlds. Without careful regulation, the same problems that plague our planet will be transferred to the next one. It's already happening: space junk is just the first step.
