When you use Internet information cite the source. This shows you understand how to do research. Citations prove you respect an author's writing and thinking. Writing citations also protects you from a charge of copying.

Whenever you get information from the Internet you should cite the source.

  • Write a citation for Turnitin.com.
  • Ask your teacher which citation style to use.
  • Use the Citation Wizard to make the citation.
  • When you have written (and double checked ) your citation, turn your worksheet into your teacher.
